Digital, 2/3 Inch, X-Ray Camera with a 25 mm, or Larger Fiber Optic Taper with a Gadolinium Oxysulphide (GdOS) Scintillation and Coating Designed to Convert X-Rays to Photons. Ideal for Inspecting Small Items or Where Cost is a Factor.

The Fiber Cam III represents a cost effective way to capture clear X-ray images with standard CCD sensors.  The Fiber Cam III is a CCD Camera with a fused fiber optic taper that is attached directly to the image sensor with proprietary techniques.

Our GdOS coating is applied directly to the surface of the fiber-optic bundle for maximum efficiency using our proprietary technology.  An optional CsI scintillator is also available.  The camera ships with a thin aluminum window to protect the x-ray sensitive layer.

The Fiber Cam III is designed for OEMs who wish to use a standard Gig/E camera with X-Ray sources.  Using this technology the sensor is several inches away from the x-ray source, thus reducing the rate of sensor deterioration.
